The Contest begins when the promotion is first published and closes on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Eastern Time. All entries must be received before the Contest closes. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.

The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors and representatives of Johnston Farm & Building Centre, as well as members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter. The Sponsor may require proof of age, identity and Ontario residency before awarding the prize.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase will not increase an entrant’s chance of winning.

To receive one eligible entry, an entrant must complete all of the following before the Contest closes:

1. Complete and submit the official Contest entry form using accurate and complete contact information.
2. Subscribe to the Johnston Farm & Building Centre email newsletter.
3. Follow or subscribe to at least one official Johnston Farm & Building Centre social media account.
4. Read and agree to these Official Contest Rules and Terms.

Entrants may be asked to identify which social media account they followed or subscribed to so that their eligibility can be verified. There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple, duplicate, automated, incomplete, fraudulent or improperly submitted entries will be disqualified.

By selecting the newsletter consent checkbox and submitting the Contest entry form, entrants agree to receive promotional emails, store news, offers and updates from Johnston Farm & Building Centre.

Entrants may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in an email. Unsubscribing after submitting an eligible entry will not invalidate the entry.

There is one prize available to be won:

One $100.00 CAD Johnston Farm & Building Centre store credit gift card.

The store credit gift card:

• May be spent on any merchandise available for purchase in store.
• Cannot be redeemed, exchanged or returned for cash.
• Cannot be transferred, sold or substituted for another prize.
• Will not be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged or used without authorization.
• Has no cash surrender value.

If a purchase exceeds the available store credit balance, the winner is responsible for paying the remaining amount. If the purchase is less than the available balance, the remaining store credit will continue to be available for future eligible purchases.

All purchases made using the Contest prize are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund or exchange, except where required by law.

The selected entrant may be contacted by email, telephone, text message or direct message through social media using the contact information provided with the entry.

The selected entrant must respond within the timeframe stated in the winner notification. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, does not respond, provides inaccurate contact information, does not meet the eligibility requirements, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question or otherwise fails to comply with these rules, the entrant may be disqualified.

If a selected entrant is disqualified, the Sponsor may select another potential winner by random draw from the remaining eligible entries.

Johnston Farm & Building Centre will never require the winner to make a payment, make a purchase or provide banking or credit card information to claim the prize.

The winner may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification when collecting the prize. The collection date and time will be arranged directly with the confirmed winner.

Personal information collected through the Contest may be used to:

• Administer and operate the Contest.
• Verify entrant eligibility.
• Contact the selected entrant.
• Award and arrange collection of the prize.
• Detect duplicate, fraudulent or invalid entries.
• Send promotional emails where the entrant has provided consent.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Johnston Farm & Building Centre may announce the winner’s first name and last initial on its website, newsletter or social media accounts.

Any additional use of the winner’s photograph, image, video or testimonial will be subject to the winner’s consent.

No purchase from any featured brand is required to enter or win. Johnston Farm & Building Centre and this contest is in no way officially endorsed by any brand mentioned or the Boots & Hearts Festival.

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to:

• Be bound by these Official Contest Rules.
• Accept the Sponsor’s decisions regarding Contest administration and eligibility as final.
• Provide accurate and complete entry information.
• Accept responsibility for costs associated with entering or collecting the prize that are not expressly included in the prize.

The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who attempts to interfere with the Contest, submit fraudulent entries, use automated entry methods or otherwise violate these Official Contest Rules.

If the Contest cannot operate as intended because of technical problems, unauthorized intervention, fraud, platform failure or circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control, the Sponsor may suspend, modify or cancel the Contest.

The Contest and these Official Contest Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
